Our concert season for 2010-2011 is based around memorable events. Our spring concert is on Saturday 3rd March at Greyfriars Church, Reading, RG1 1EH. Tickets are £12/£8.
This concert is entitled A time to celebrate, and is the second concert in our 2011-12 Historic Times season. We will be celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee with music from her Coronation and from Royal Weddings including the Queen and Price Philip's, Charles and Diana's, and of course, all the music from William and Kate's wedding in spring 2011. We will be singing music by Parry, Walton, Rutter, Mealor, Handel and lots more well-known composers and it will be a truly joyful occasion! In the summer we will finish the season with A time to perform, which will centre around the theme of the Olympic Games. I'm not quite sure HOW yet, but inspiration will come!
